HAWC held its annual BELIEVE Luncheon on April 18, 2024. Thank you to our attendees for making it a tremendous success. Together, we will drive real change! 

During this event, we launched our new #SurvivorsSpeak campaign, a vital initiative aimed at amplifying the powerful voices of survivors in a society that all too often places blame and shame on them. It is through the courageous voices of survivors that we can truly revolutionize systems, protocols, and understandings to provide them with the compassionate and trauma-informed care they deserve.

“Believe when survivors speak” is not a slogan. It is the beginning of finding solutions to sexual violence, domestic abuse, and sex trafficking. This is what we at HAWC have been doing every hour of the day, for the past 47 years.

For those who attended Believe, we hope you left the event feeling energized about the work HAWC does and the path we are taking to end domestic and sexual violence. We hope you learned something transformational about domestic violence and sexual assault.
