Neeta Potnis is the Chief Financial Officer for the Houston Area Women’s Center.
Neeta is a visionary finance executive and a strategic transformation leader with more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit industry in the social service arena. She comes from a distinguished 15-year tenure at one of the largest non-profits in the child welfare sector. She is a strong financial leader who has long operated at the intersection of strategy and innovation – always seeking to find a better way to do things.
She has extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting forecasting, ERP implementation, treasury management, change management, process improvement, due diligence, audits, improved operations, risk management, grants management, and creation and implementation of policies and procedures. She is skilled in developing strategy and leading complex initiatives to enhance organization wide operations and financial sustainability. She is a proud Mom to two college aged children!
