The Houston Area Women’s Center Young Leaders (HAWCYL) is a dynamic and energetic group of Houstonians in their 20s, 30s, and 40s committed to furthering the mission of the Houston Area Women’s Center.

We are dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault through fundraising and providing volunteers to support the efforts of the HAWC.

We seek to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for like-minded individuals of all genders and backgrounds to mingle and network with one another. HAWCYL is composed of general members and is organized/maintained by a Board of officers who contribute their time, resources and ideas to support and sustain the Young Leaders group.

General meetings are held quarterly and are open to members and anyone who is interested in joining Young Leaders. We also hold social, advocacy and fundraising events.

General meetings are held quarterly and are open to members and anyone who is interested in membership. They are typically held at the Houston Area Women’s Center, 1010 Waugh Dr, Houston, TX 77019.
