This special day will be filled with impactful stories, engaging conversations, and a shared commitment to building a future where safe, healthy, and strong relationships thrive—free from violence.

At the Houston Area Women’s Center, we believe survivors. For the past 48 years, HAWC has been providing free, confidential trauma-informed, life-saving services for survivors. Our wrap-around services empower individuals, families, and communities to transform trauma, and achieve independence.

Believe 2025 will not only be a day of celebration, but also a time for us to reflect and reveal the next chapter of our work. This chapter includes the grand opening of a new state-of-the-art, 5.5-acre flagship campus with 135 apartments providing a holistic safe haven for individuals and families. Combining both residential and non- residential services, this secure, 24/7 site, with a disclosed address, is unprecedented in scale and scope.
