This past Saturday, approximately 2000 people joined together – clients, runners, supporters and volunteers – to make for an incredibly successful 32nd Annual Race Against Violence.  Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and Houston Police Chief Acevedo were among the supporters who cheered on participants.  We raised awareness and critical funds to support HAWC’s mission to end domestic and sexual violence.

Most importantly, we sent a strong message to survivors:  we believe you, you are not alone and help is available!
